Home Performance Index Version 2.0 is approved by the International Well Building Institute for their WELL Community standard.
The WELL Community Standard builds upon the WELL Building Standard and aims to impact individuals throughout the public spaces. The vision for a WELL community is inclusive, integrated and resilient, fostering high levels of social engagement.
This enables developers who are certifying developments to the Well communities to use an Irish certification system fully integrated into the Irish regulatory and planning system. Version 2.0 includes additional health performance indicators such as radon testing to ensure higher quality control on-site.
Hines are currently constructing the first registered Well Community in Cherrywood.
Over 7350 homes are now registered for certification under the Home Performance Index, including affordable, public and private housing.
